INTERNSHIP PREP  

Level Requirements: High Intermediate level placement
Study Options: Part-time PM
Duration: 4-12 week course

This course is exclusively for students enrolled in a Professional Language Program who are required to complete a work experience component of their study program. The schedule combines classroom study with one-on-one sessions with the internship coordinator. The focus of the course is to prepare students for job search, interviews, and the Canadian workplace.

Modules include:
• Resume writing
• Cover letter preparation
• Job search techniques
• Interviewing practice
• Understanding the Canadian workplace
• Application preparation
• Employment Standards in Canada
• Ethics in the workplace
