Our Hospitality and Tourism English course is designed to provide students with the language skills needed to succeed in today’s Hospitality & Tourism environments. Focusing on improving communication skills and developing a base vocabulary in major hospitality themes, each module integrates intensive study with practical application.
Classes are packed with interactive exercises such as:
• discussions integrating current case studies,
• classroom activities including role plays,
• guest speakers from various industries give seminars or workshops,
• field trips to local industries allow access to working professionals,
• classroom study focusing on vocabulary building and developing competence in using English in the workplace.
Modules are typically 1 or 2 weeks in duration and focus on a particular facet of hospitality or tourism such as promotion, tour planning, convention management, customer relations, service industry, while developing relevant professional English skills needed to work in these areas. There is a great deal of reading and writing required in this course and nightly homework should be expected.
