Our Business English course is designed to provide students with the language skills needed to succeed in today’s business environment.
Focusing on improving communication skills and developing a base vocabulary in major business themes, each module integrates intensive classroom study with practical application.
Classes are packed with interactive exercises such as:
• discussions integrating current case studies,
• classroom activities including role plays,
• guest speakers from various industries give seminars or workshops,
• field trips to local businesses allow access to working professionals,
• classroom study focusing on vocabulary building and developing competence in using English in the workplace.
Modules are typically 1 or 2 weeks in duration and focus on a particular facet of business such as trade, advertising or marketing, leadership, ethics, administration, human resources while on developing relevant professional English skills needed to work in these areas. There is a great deal of reading and writing required in this course and nightly homework should be expected.
