Internships programs are study programs containing in-class and out-of-class study components. The in-class component builds professional languages skills and content knowledge preparing students for entry into an English work environment. The out-of-class study or placement component provides the opportunity to apply classroom learning in a real-life and practical setting. Students develop language skills, build interpersonal relationships, extend cultural understanding and train in a relevant work setting.
Internships are available to all students successfully completing a professional language program at McKinsey. Programs follow co-op education model with the internship in the middle of two study components. The post-work study component allows a greater understanding the connection between what is studied and how it is applied in the world of work.
Internship programs are intensive but very rewarding study programs. Students should be prepared for both academic and emotional challenges throughout the program but can be reassured that McKinsey staff are trained and will continue to provide support from application through graduation to ensure that the experience is successful.
ADVANTAGES:
