This Pathway Program runs 30 hours per week for 12 weeks and is open to students at an advanced level placement. The goals of this course are to provide students with the skills necessary to excel at the college level.
Areas of particular focus include:
• Academic Writing
• Listening and Note Taking skills
• Tutorial Discussion & Speaking/Presentation Preparation
• Research Skills
• Referencing Skills
• Academic Reading Skills/Strategies
ADVANTAGES:
MIC has agreements with several Ontario colleges, allowing admission to students who have successfully completed this Pathway Program. Successful students may not be required to submit an English proficiency score (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.) to our partner colleges for admission.
