McKinsey International College and Anderson National College have formed an Alliance to be able to offer a more diverse set of programs with career advancement and higher educational opportunities. In our Alliance Programs, students begin programs with McKinsey and complete studies with Anderson, all on the same campus. Students benefit from the services and support of both organizations, the smooth transition between programs, and the flexibility of program design. Work Experience is available with all Alliance programs.

INTERNATIONAL TRADE

FITT (Forum for International Trade Training) is an international trade training and professional certification body. As the only organization of its kind in the world, FITT sets the standards and designs the training programs leading to the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) designation. FITT's quality training programs impart knowledge and practical skills that provide a competitive advantage to trade practitioners while elevating their position in world markets.

OUTLINE:
Module 1 – Business Communications
Module 2 – Global Business Environment
Module 3 – International Marketing
Module 4 – International Trade Finance
Module 5 – Global Supply Chain Management


Work Experience:
Students enrich their educational experience by having the opportunity to gain valuable work experience from our co-operative education employer organizations. The internship program consists of information sessions, workshops, counseling, work-site monitoring, employer evaluations, and student reports. Students enrolled in the program are registered full-time students who have achieved a grade point average in good standing and have maintained a solid attendance record. For a student to earn an Internship program diploma, he/she must successfully complete academic program and complete their co-op education obligations and work term. Therefore, the co-op component is mandatory for this program. Students will have to apply for a co-op work permit through Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).

Career Opportunities:
The versatility of our International Trade and Business Administration Program ensures that graduates will find employment in a wide range of industries. The International Trade and Business Administration Program graduate may be employed in any economic sector in which international markets play a role. Career opportunities are present in marketing, finance and management with firms such as trading houses, importers and exporters, custom brokers, freight forwarders and transportation providers.

HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT  

Level Requirement: Direct Entry Requires Advanced Level placement
Pre-requisite: Hospitality and Tourism International
Other: High School Graduate

This program gives students the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed for management, and offers excellent career prospects for budding entrepreneurs and future managers in the global hospitality and tourism industries. The curriculum is derived from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Lodgings Association (AH&LA), recognized by major hotels in over 114 countries as the best management curriculum available. Graduates of our program receive the internationally recognized AHLA certification. Students also receive an embossed AHLA certificate for each Hospitality course completed in the program.
